Hi Friends,
OK, I was trying to decide how to do this drawing for the Clear Polymer Snowman Stamp Set. I had planned to use the random number generator on www.random.org, but when I started going through the comments I noticed that some people had commented on the stamp set but the comment was attached to other posts on the blog. So I decided for this drawing I would just put everyone's name in a hat (well, actually a paper bag) and have Tonya draw a name. So here's what we're drawing for:
And the lucky winner is: DEBBIE FISHER!! Please email me with your mailing address (no later than August 21) and I'll send the set out to you. darcieheater@gmail.com
A great big THANK YOU to all of you who commented, I really appreciate the feedback!
In the last post I said I was off to the kitchen to make a strawberry pie. Well, as luck would have it, I had the opportunity to go fishing instead. Here's my little 4 year old grandson watching a bald eagle swoop down and swipe his fish:
I know it looks like a vulture in the photo, lol, but it really was a bald eagle. We have quite a few bald eagles in the area, because of the river. On our last river trip we had the opportunity to see one up close. It was sitting on a rock in the river and just stayed there as we floated by. I wasn't quick enough with the camera to catch it on film, but was luckier this time, we saw it circling and I was ready for it.
I'm still going to make that strawberry pie, hopefully later today. I want to make one more before the strawberries disappear from the stores until next season....so I'll share the recipe with you when I make it.
We'll be having another drawing for a free stamp set from the new line, so be sure to check back soon!
:) Darcie
Congrats Debbie! Love that picture of the eagle - aren't you glad you had your camera ready to go!
