Hi Friends!
We're busy working on lots of new projects for Spring and the CHA show in January, and I've been putting in some extra long hours creating papers, stamps, and new templates. It seems strange to be drawing Spring things at Halloween, but that's the way it goes here. I'm excited about the new projects, we're having tons of fun developing new designs that I can't wait to share with you...
...but in the meantime, I'll share some more of the new Winter projects, since that would be more appropriate for this time of year! Here's my new Flourish Reindeer Clear Polymer Stamp set:
This set is #POL2 and it retails for $14.95...and yup, you'll have a chance to WIN this set, I'll give you the details at the end of this post. Here are a few of the projects Tonya made with the set:
Tonya stamped all of the images on the cards shown in this post on Translucent Vellum and cut them out. She then layered them on colored card stock and cut them out again. Add a few punched sayings, a little stitching and viola! Quick card! Here's a little box that fits a DVD (you can slip a DVD inside of it to give as a gift):
The pattern used to make the DVD gift box is Pattern #CDX01 CD/DVD Gift Box Patterns. Here's the pattern:
The pattern includes 3 different sizes of boxes, one fits a DVD, one fits a CD and the other one fits our king size Jewel Cases that our Cling Mounted Stamp Sets are packaged in. They make great little gift packages. The pattern is #CDX01 and it retails for $5.99.
Stamping the solid images on Vellum makes it pretty quick and easy to complete these projects. I love the Clear Polymer stamps for the solid images, I think you get a little more "textured" look. These stamps all have a distressed look to begin, so it just adds to the look. Here's another card:
On this one Tonya used Markers to ink the stamp, then stamped it on the Vellum. She ripped the edges of the Vellum, then stitched it to a piece of my patterned card stock. And here's one last card:
All of these are pretty quick and easy, using the solid stamps, Vellum and the punches. Here's a great gift bag that you can fill with home baked goodies:
The template used to make this gift bag is my Pattern #XPT10 Bow Top Box and it retails for $6.99. There are 3 sizes of Bow Top Boxes included in this pattern, making it very versatile. I think this is one of my favorite gift bags, I really like the bow on the top and how the lining turns into the bow. Here's the template:
Here are the papers we used on these projects:
We're still working on the website, but if you see something you like in the meantime, you can call us on our toll free line to order it, if you're interested: 1-800-945-3980.
Now, back to that FREE set of Clear Polymer stamps.
To enter the drawing for the FREE CLEAR POLYMER STAMP SET, just place a comment at the end of this post. Place your comment by midnight Pacific Time on Sunday, November 1, and I will randomly draw a winner on Monday, November 2.
I have a big project going this weekend, I'm working on sewing 300 Christmas stockings (!) to send to deployed troops. With three family members serving overseas, I decided to fire up the old sewing machine and see if the women in the family would want to help stitch them up. (In addition to the 300 neck coolers I'm working on, lol!) Luckily several of them said they'd help, so we're going to tackle that tomorrow. We're contacting local service organizations seeking help with the "stuffers" and the postage. I'll take some photos and share them with you next week.
I hope you have a great weekend!
:) Darcie

I just discovered your stamps at a convention in September, and they're fabulous! It's about time someone started pairing SUPER cute images with tons of coordinating sentiments! I bought 4 stamp sets, but I don't have the reindeer one- thanks for the chance to win it! :D

I love the stocking idea - I have been doing blue jean stockings - I was just at the Hampton, VA stampscrapart tour so got to see a lot of your new products and cd's - I have almost all of them - Have a great time working on stuff for the troops - I did lots of stuff for them last year but not sure who is collecting stuff this year.

My eyes popped out of my head when I got to the 300 stockings. There must be more than one of you or you just keep on going round the clock. Makes me tired just thinking about it (lol). I really like the reindeer in this set. Have seen others that are similar, but not quite as cute. Once again, impressed with the talent. Got a lot of use out of my pumpkins, now to move on to Christmas.
