Bloomin' Early

Hi Blog Friends,

I can't believe how early Spring has arrived here.... we have trees in full bloom, crocus and daffodils are up, tulips are almost ready.... and now trees that are fully leafed out!

We had snow last year in late March, hopefully that won't happen again this year!

Well, I'm back from the Sew Expo in Puyallup and had a great time. The creative bug is pretty much out of control right now and I can't wait to start on some sewing projects this weekend. 

Thanks for all the sewing comments on the last post, I'm glad to hear that you guys sew also!  I'll have some things to share with you soon.  :)  My daughter-in-law asked me to show her how to sew, and I'm having fun showing her different techniques and watching what she creates with her new found skills.  We've been making projects for this little guy:

Awwww, soooo cute!  He is absolutely the best little baby, very content!  Can't wait to see him again.  :)

When I was younger I made almost all my own clothes and many for my sons, then I started working full-time and sewing was one of those things that just gradually went by the wayside. Congratulations Debee!

Darcie, your grandson is a doll! Be sure to post the things you and your DIL are making for him.

Love the flowers! We still have snow on the ground but it is melting and hopefully that is the last of it til this fall. I am soooo ready for the trees to bud and flower and the flowers to poke their heads thru the ground and bloom!

Congrats Debee! Darcie - glad you had fun at the sewing expo. Sounds like you had a great time. Your little grandson is a cutie! Love the flower - we still have soon. Hopefully we will get some flowers soon.
