Hey Blog Friends,
Well, I spoke too soon about Spring! Today it's raining/snowing/blowing and supposed to get down to 27 degrees tonite. Hopefully it won't hurt all the flowers and trees that have already blossomed. Since it's cold and wintry again, I decided to make some hot soup to warm up with.
My family loves this soup, and I thought maybe you'd like it also. Here's the recipe:
You can click HERE to download a pdf version of the recipe. You must have Adobe Reader installed to open a pdf document. If you don't have Adobe Reader, you can download a free copy of it by clicking HERE, then clicking on the "Get Adobe Reader Free" button.
OR, if the pdf version won't work on your computer, you can click on the picture below and it will open in a new window. Once it opens in the new window, click print on your computer.
Print the recipe on card stock and cut it out on the outer green lines.
I'm working on a recipe book for the blog recipes and I'm hoping to share it with you soon. I'll be revising the previously posted recipes so that they're this same size (6 1/2" X 10"), as this will be the size of the book.
I hope you had a great weekend! Our oldest Grandson spent the week with us last week and I'm sure missing him a ton today. We took him to Bonneville Dam on our trip up north. Here they are watching the sturgeon in a pond:
The dark things in the water are the Sturgeon. We also got to see two barges passing through the locks. They went from this:
To THIS!:
They looked pretty tiny way down there, I was surprised at how high they came up when the water filled the lock area. HUGE!
I hope you have a great week, see you soon!
:) Darcie

Thanks for the recipe! It looks wonderful! Looks like you had a great time with your grandson. Grandchildren are soooo much fun.
