Hi Blog Friends,
Sorry for the delay between posts! I've been dealing with a number of issues personally that have taken me away from my blog posts for awhile here. The day I flew home from CHA in Chicago, my husband had to have an unexpected surgery. Then two days later his mom became ill, had what should have been a fairly minor surgery, but experienced some extremely serious complications. Prayers are appreciated, the next few days are pretty critical.
On another note.... CHA was absolutely amazing, we were swamped with orders. Yay for tons of orders... but unfortunately I didn't get a single photo! The minute the doors opened each day we were busy and it just never let up. Thanks so much to all of you for the kind comments and feedback regarding my new images, I really appreciate it! I'm hoping to get my hands on some of those stamp sets soon, so I can do some giveaways here. Stay tuned!
So in the meantime, I thought I'd share a couple of quick photos of some more of the charm necklaces made with my new acrylic charms. We sold a ton of these charm packs at CHA, I think Arnold (the sweet guy who actually makes these at the factory in Cleveland) is going to be one VERRRRYY busy fellow for a long time.
Both of these acrylic charm necklaces were made using acrylic charms from this charm pack: #ACRM5 Medallions and Frames. The "Cherish", "Life" and "Imagine" images are from my new U-Cut UC522 Simply Charming. The U-Cut includes dozens of images that coordinate with the shapes of the charms. The brass charms will be available in assorted sets. The ball chain and jumprings are from Tim Holtz's Ideaology line. Also, I noticed some great charm assortments that would coordinate with the acrylic charms at Simon Says Stamp.... check them out HERE.
Luckily, I do actually have a set of these charms in my possession. :) Would you like to WIN this acrylic charm set? Yes? To enter the drawing, just make a comment on THIS blog post between now and August 16, midnight Pacific Time. I will draw a winning comment on August 17 and post the winner's name here. The winner will have until Friday, August 20 to claim their prize by emailing me with their address. Pretty easy, huh?
Actually..... if I can get my hands on some more of these charm sets, I'll draw more than one winning name.
If everything goes well on the homefront, I'll be headed out to the Stampaway show in Cincinnati this weekend. I haven't been to that show personally in a few years, so I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and making new acquaintances in the area. If you live in the Cincinnati area, be sure to check back, as I will be posting coupons for the show.
:) Darcie

Sending prayers for healing your way. Hope the stamp convention was as successful a venture as it sounds like CHA was for you!
Thanks for the generous chance to win.

I'm sorry to hear of your husband's and MIL's surgeries - they are in my prayers. I love these charms and I'm anxious to order some. Will you be adding these to the website? I can't wait! I keep looking up videos online about that metal clay you talked about, and I think I may be hooked. It looks fairly simple, and sounds like fun. I love that necklace. Yes, I think you should give one away! I'd love to win a set of these charms. Thanks you and may God bless your family!

Praying for complete healing for your husband and mother-in-law, and for strength for you to help them as well as keep up with your day to day responsibilities. Don't worry about us, we'll wait, maybe not so patiently, but we'll wait--especially for such yummy designs and charms.
