Hi Blog Friends,
Well, Tonya's wedding was absolutely beautiful. (Tonya is my assistant and makes the majority of my card and project samples...for those of you who don't know who she is.) Her wedding was on Saturday and we had been pretty worried about the weather as it was an outdoor wedding. It had rained off and on most of the prior week, and had cooled off considerably. As it turned out the day was warm and gorgeous, the evening was a perfect temperature, and it all went off perfectly. One of the prettiest weddings I've been to. :)
I took my super duper dslr camera so I could get some nice shots to share with you.... only to discover that I didn't have a media card in the camera. Nuts! So here's a photo that I swiped off of Tonya's facebook page, lol:
I can't wait until she gets the rest of the pictures so I can show you the setting... sooo pretty. They both look prettty happy, huh?
So, since weddings are the theme today, I thought I'd GIVE AWAY another one of these stamp sets:
The stamp set is JCS122, Wedded Bliss. It's a Red Rubber Cling Mounted set and it retails for $24.95. I featured it previously in two different posts, which you can view HERE and HERE. Here's one of the projects made using the set:
The gift sack was made using my Pattern #TBX12 Tall Bottle Sack, which retails for $6.99.
How can you win the WEDDED BLISS set of rubber stamps AND the TALL BOTTLE SACK TEMPLATE?! Simply by posting a comment on THIS post by Tuesday, October 5th. I will draw a winning name on Wednesday, October 6th and announce the winner on the blog. The winner will have until Monday, October 11 to claim the prize by emailing me.
I'm headed out to the Adventures in Stamping Show in Strongsville, OH later this week... if you live in the Ohio area and will be attending the show, check back as I will be posting coupons for the show on Thursday.
OCTOBER! I love fall....I'll be back next week with some Fall goodies for you!
:) Darcie

Hi Darcie, I met you this weekend at the stamp show. (I was the one with the necklace made out of a domino). I was so excited to see the charms you were making, thank you for sharing your techniques. I make all my own jewelry. My friend and I were in your booth several times and we had a lot of fun at the show.

My sister and I enjoyed your booth and enjoyed visiting with you. Thank you for the chance to win the stamps and thank you for telling us about your blog. I love the little free love bird gift sack and printed it out. I'm not very good on the computer, but it was very easy. We're going to use them for favors for my granddaughter's wedding. Thankfully we have until next June to get them all made!

I was at your booth in Strongsville and just wanted to tell you how much I liked those new ornaments. I bought several and am going to make them for gifts. I bought 3 for my kid's teachers also and that will make a perfect teacher gift for the last day of school before Christmas break. I loved the new shrink plastic CD and am hoping to play with it later this week. Those will make some great gift items also. Thanks for so many holiday ideas, I hope the show was a good one for you and that you come back next year!

Hey, thank you for coming to Strongsville! I absolutely loved your booth, it was my favorite. I was disappointed with how small the show was, but when I found you it made it all better. LOVED the charms, thank you for explaining them and showing me how to make them. I bought several packages of them and also the pumpkin frame. Oh, and the charm stamp set. :) I'm going to also order the metal clay kit you mentioned, I loved your necklace. Thanks for sharing and for making the show perfect! Hope to see you next year!!

OK. You're not going to believe this, but my niece got married on the same exact day, and I did the same exact thing with my camera! Are we related?? What are the odds of both of us having such a similar experience? My niece's wedding was lovely too.
