Hey Blog Friends,
I'm back from my trip and it's back to work for me! We had a ton of fun visiting our son in Hawaii... I thought I'd share a couple of quick photos from our trip. Check out his backyard:
Yup, I could get used to that view every day. Sooo pretty.
This was my favorite thing to do each day:
(His back yard again). Ahhhh! Although by about the third day I was having some serious crafting withdrawals!
Here's what Dan found on the beach one night:
To put this photo in perspective.... my husband is a BIG guy. That was one HUGE turtle. The ocean behind our son's house was full of turtles, amazing tropical fish (I wish I knew all the names of them!), and we even saw a couple of seahorses.
The Banzai Pipeline kicked up one of the days while we were there, and we were able to witness some BIG waves.
Sorry that one is grainy.... I took it with my phone as I forgot my camera that day. I guess in December the waves can be as big as 60 foot... the ones we saw were about 25' to 30'. I can't even imagine 60' waves!
I have some more goodies to give away, I'll be posting some blog candy in a few days... so be sure to check back!
Here's one last photo of my youngest grandson's Halloween costume:
Go Ducks! (Yep, we're pretty big U of O fans, lol!). Isn't he adorable?! Walking already.... whoa.
See you soon!
Darcie

Glad you had so much fun in Hawaii, but I'm also glad you're back :) We had fun visiting you last weekend!

WOW what a beautiful view your son has. I don't think that I could ever leave.
How sweet is your grandson in that duck costume? Lord Ok there is no way I could have left. Glad you had a good vacation and got home safe.

Cute little duck! Glad you enjoyed your trip to Hawaii. On our last trip to Hawaii, we were snorkeling and came upon a sea turtle - so very cool!

The view looks wonderful, the beach amazing, but the best one of all, the picture of your grandson, way too cute. We were lucky to have our little grandaughter here on Haloween too, she is two and her first time trick or treating. She had more fun helping me pass out candy though.
