Hi Blog Friends,
Well, I'm finally finishing up loose ends from the after CHA rush... and finalizing the data for the NEW website. (Yay! Hoping we can get it up and running before too long!).
I thought I'd give you a closer look at one of my new stamp sets:
This is one of the new Red Rubber Cling Mounted Stamp Sets, #JCS141, Owl Be Queen, Retail price - $8.79. The size of the entire set is 3 3/4" wide x 4" tall. Here are a few of the projects we made with this stamp set:
I love the combination of my new papers and Tim Holtz's Distress Inks. Vintage-y goodness! We used Tea Dye, Vintage Photo and Faded Jeans Distress Inks to add the vintage touches to the projects shown here. For this card we stamped the owl on my PC55 Bright White Card Stock using Ranger's Black Archival Ink. Then we cut out the owl using one of my new EZCutts Cutting Templates. This one is EZC7 Kingston, retail price $19.95. The cutting template is made from acrylic and includes 5 different sizes of the "Kingston" shape. Using a swivel knife and white cutting cushion with the template makes it quick and easy to produce various sizes of the same shape to use for cards and paper craft projects. We used Ranger's Inkssentials Ink Blending tool with a foam pad to apply the Distress Inks to the edges of the papers.
Here's another card:
This card was made using a variety of sizes of the Marvy Scallop punches for the flower, and my EZCutts Cutting Template - "Aidan" and "Raine", retail $19.95 each. The Aidan Cutting Template was used to cut the paper with the saying on it, and the Raine Template was used to cut the brown card stock behind the saying. The Aidan template includes 9 different sizes of the same shape:
The Raine EZCutts Cutting Template includes 10 different sizes of the same shape:
I love these cutting templates, they're so versatile with so many sizes of the same shape. I think we pretty much use these on every project! Easy to store, easy to use!
Here's one more card:
This card features the "Chloe" EZ Cutts Cutting Template. The "Chloe" template includes 9 sizes of the same shape and retails for $19.95 also.
This time around, I decided to make the Red Rubber Cling Mounted Stamp sets a little smaller to make them even more affordable. The same images are also available in a larger version in the Clear Polymer. Here's the coordinating Polymer Set:
This Clear Polymer Stamp Set is #POL43 Queen Owl, and retails for $14.95. The overall size of the stamp set is 4" x 8".
Here's my new papers we used on these projects:
All of my papers are available in the following sizes:
• 8 1/2" x 11" text weight paper - .47¢ each. To order this size use the "PA" prefix with the paper number.
• 8 1/2" x 11" 80 lb. card stock - .89¢ each. To order this size and weight, use the "PAC" prefix with the paper number.
• 12" x 12" text weight paper - .85¢ each. To order this size, use the "PTW" prefix with the paper number.
• 12" x 18" 80 lb. card stock - $1.39 each. We use these larger sheets for the dimensional gift sack projects. To order this size and weight, use the "SPAC" prefix with the paper number.
Here's one of my Acrylic Shadowbox Frames made with this stamp set:
This Acrylic Shadow Box Frame is #ACR20 Acrylic Frame - Raine Large. It retails for $7.99. Seriously, $7.99! Great price, made in our own factory in Cleveland by Arnold, the cutting wizard who cranks out all of Wendy Vecchi's Art Parts and my Acrylic and Chipboard projects. (We used the EZC4 Raine, EZC9 Addison, and EZC7 Kingston EZ Cutts Cutting Templates on this project also). Here's a closeup of the Acrylic Frame:
The frame comes with 3 chipboard "shadowbox" layers, a piece of backing chipboard, an acrylic piece (shown here covered with the blue peel-off protective film still on it), and 4 frame clips (silver color metal). So many things you can do with this frame!
Annnnnnd, one more project:
This cute little gift sack was made using my Jumbo U-Cut, #SKUC80 Owl Be Queen Gift Basket, retail $2.99. The pre-printed sheet contains everything you need to make the gift sack (excluding shreds inside the sack and the twine trim). Here's what the Jumbo U-Cut looks like:
All the components, printed right on one sheet! Includes full step-by-step instructions. Cut it out, glue it together... and viola!...adorable gift packaging.
If you're interested in ordering any of these products, you can do so by calling our main office toll free at 1-800-945-3980. Hopefully the new website will be done before too long!
OK, this is a long post, but soooo much to share! One last thing that coordinates with these stamp sets.... my U-Cuts. All of my designs are available as rubber stamps AND available as pre-printed sheets of "U-Cuts". The images just need to be cut out (hence the "You-Cuts" name, lol). These make quick and easy additions to your pages and craft projects. Here's the U-Cut that coordinates with these stamp sets:
The U-Cut is #UC540, Owl Queen Kisses, retail price $1.39.
I'm waiting for the main office to ship me some of the new stamp sets. When I receive them, I'll be doing some FREEBIE drawings with them, so stay tuned! In the meantime, how would you like to WIN this Acrylic Shadowbox Frame and the papers and U-Cuts to complete it? To be eligible for the drawing, just make a comment on THIS post before Midnight, Monday, February 28. I will randomly pick a winning comment on Tuesday, March 1. The winner will have until Friday, March 4 to contact me via email to claim the prize.
:) Darcie

Very awesome set of stamps. I love how you have it available in two sizes. I like the red rubber ones, but sometimes for backgrounds I like to use the polymer ones as they give a little more textured look to a design. Thank you for offering them both ways. Pretty frame, I'd love to make it for my sister's birthday!
