The old saying really is true..... if you fall off the bike, you need to get right back on it and head on down the road. I've experienced that a number of times in my life, both with my bike... and in business. :) I feel like I lost the grip on the handlebars of my blog a couple of months ago, lol. Too many creative adventures, too many ideas all at once and not enough time to squeeze them all in a day. So instead of one massive make-up blog post, I'm creating a number of short ones. Some of them will automatically post while I'm gone at CHA.
Thought I'd share one of my favorite samples from the new flyer:
Love, love, love this one! Tonya did an excellent job on all the new samples! :) We're having fun using Ranger's Distress Inks on the stamped images and layering them for a dimensional look. They could also be stamped directly onto the paper and colored with watercolor pencils or markers for a completely different look. Tonya used streamers and tissue paper on some of the new samples for a cute "ruffle-y" look.
And speaking of CHA, my boxes of new products and samples are happily winging their way to Chicago-land. Whew. Done! I'll be posting my flyer this weekend, so you'll be able to see all of it before the show starts.
Here's one of my new stamp sets:
This set is #JCS160, A Beautiful Ride, retail price $18.99. (It's shown a lot smaller here than the actual size).
Here's some of the samples Tonya made with this set (including the one shown above):
Yummy, huh? Love those colors! One more card:
And how about one of my Acrylic Shadowbox Frames with the little bicycle in it:
This frame is #ACR16 Tristan, retail price $7.99. (Really. $7.99!) I think these frames are such a great value, and all made right here in the good ol' USA. Cleveland to be exact.
And the same stamp set in a Clear Polymer version:
This set is POL62, Good Times Roll, it retails for $14.95.
And here's the coordinating "tin pin" button set:
This "tin pin" set is #DHD08 Victorian Rose, retail price $3.99. And also made in the USA, right here in beautiful Oregon.
There's another set that coordinates with this one, and I'll show it to you on Thursday, along with info on the Victorian Rose Paper set.
How would you like to own this set of tin pin buttons? I'll be giving away a set with each of the upcoming blog posts. (I'll send them all out after CHA so you'll have a couple weeks to make comments). Comment on THIS POST by Midnight, July 28th to be eligible for the Victorian Rose Tin Pin buttons. Feel free to make as many comments on each post as you'd like, it will increase your chances. I'll randomly choose the winners for all of the posts on July 29th, and will post the winners on that date.
OK, see you soon with more goodies!
:) Darcie

I like the colors on the sample projects.
