Hey Blog Friends,
Hmmm, I'm rapidly running out of days to give you sneak peeks, CHA will be here in a week! Annnnnd I leave in 4 days, yikes. So I'm going to try to show you half of the stamp sets today, and if all goes well, the rest tomorrow. Or the next day. :) After CHA I'll show you more samples... and some instruction videos.
Before I show you... I should probably give you an explanation though. I've been designing for the craft industry for over 25 years now. (Wow, did I really just admit that?!?) Lol. So every few years I tend to overhaul the look. Styles change, times change and every once in awhile I tend to start all over, go in a new direction. Sometimes customers like that, and sometimes they still want the old-style teddy bear of mine. I apologize if sometimes it seems drastic, I try to blend the old into the new but also I try to stay current with the trends and themes. Creativity is also based on what we like and what we're into at the moment. So with that in mind... here's the first half of my new stamp sets:
This set is #JCS131 Cardinal Ornament. It retails for $24.95 (it's a larger set, the images shown here are not at full size.) The set shown above is a red rubber cling mounted set of stamps. There is also a coordinating set of smaller images featured in Clear Polymer, here's a photo of that set:
Some of the same images, smaller sizes. This set is #POL34 Cardinal Songbird, and it retails for $11.95. Here's one of the cards Tonya and I made with the red rubber set:
The papers used on the card are all new, Item #PA1448, Crystal Flake (the blue snowflake one), PA1441 Victoriana (the green one, and PA1449 Candy Apple (the red one). The Muse Token is from Tim Holtz's Ideaology line. And since this set was designed to coordinate with one of my new acrylic projects, I'll show you that project also:
This is item #ACR27 Ornate Frame Ornament and it retails for $5.99. It has acrylic on both sides so when it spins around on the Christmas tree, both sides are decorated (it comes with the metal frame clips shown). It's a shadowbox style, the inner part is recessed and you can add glitter or shreds to the inside of it, like a big shaker ornament. Here's another red rubber set:
This one is #JCS127, Decorate Your Life, it retails for $24.95. The coordinating, smaller Clear Polymer Set is shown below:
This one is item #POL30, Decorate, it retails for $11.95. Here's one of the cards from that set:
The papers on this card are: PA1445 Nottingham (the rusty colored background), PA1446 Brown Boyelyn (the dark brown) and PA1443 Heritage, (the golden brown one). The background behind the chair is actually stamped with the stamp set. The embellishments on the saying are Tim's Washers and Brads. All of the cards shown in this post were inked with Ranger's (and Tim's) Distress Inks and Ranger's Ink blending tool.
Here's the next set:
The set above is the red rubber set, item #JCS125, The Way, retail price $24.95. The Clear Polymer set is shown below:
The smaller Clear Polymer Set is item #POL29, Manger, and it retails for $11.95. Here's a couple of samples from that set:
The new papers used on this set are #PA1444 Tandori Concord (the dark blue/purple one), PA1443 Heritage (the golden one) and PA 1401 Tandori Teal (well... the teal one). And here's one of the new Acrylic Shadowbox frames made with this stamp set:
This Frame is #ACR41, Kingston, and it retails for $8.99. Really?!? $8.99? Holy Cow, what a bargain. Made right here in the good ol' USA at our factory in Cleveland... by Arnold. (Wendy Vecchi has talked about Arnold a lot lately... I think we're keeping poor Arnold pretty busy between the two of us, lol). Between her Art Parts, my existing Acrylic Projects and the TON of my new Acrylic Projects, I think Arnold is going to need a little vacation here pretty soon! Thank you Arnold for all your hard work!
And yet one more set of red rubber stamps:
This one is item#JCS129, Just My Type, and it retails for $24.95. Here's the coordinating Clear Polymer set:
This one is item #POL32, My Type, it retails for $11.95. Here's one of the card samples:
The papers used on this one are PA1443 Heritage (the golden one) and PA1406 Adelaide (the dark brown patterned one).
And one more set for today:
This is the red rubber cling set, item #JCS135 Peace Out, retail $24.95. The coordinating Clear Polymer set is shown below:
This one is item #POL38, Peace on Earth, retail $11.95. Here are a couple of my favorite projects from this one:
This card is quick and easy... and features a flower made from
Tim's grungepaper. LOVE that stuff. I wanted a more vibrant pastel look to the flower, so I applied a coat of
Ranger's Claudine Hellmuth Studio Gesso to the paper before I stamped it. I inked the flowers with Ranger's Adirondack pigment inks after I stamped them. (Gotta LOVE all these new Ranger products to play with, having TONS of fun...thank you
Tim and
Ranger U.) The new papers on this set are PA1402 Chennai Mango (the orange one), PA1450 Felicity Jade (the green one), PA1454 Abbie Blue, and PA1451 Abbie Red (shown below).
Here's another card:
Aw...see there's still some cute left in me. :) More grungepaper and ink!
And I have to share one extra project from this set with you...
Another one of my new Acrylic Shadowbox Frames, #ACR30 Brooklyn Acrylic Shadowbox Frame - Large, retail $9.99. This one is a big frame, suitable for home decor, it measures 10 1/8" wide x 6 1/8" tall. This one has soooo many possibilities.... you know all those store bought frames with sayings? I'm thinking lots of U-Cuts to fit this one will be coming soon! After all, wouldn't it be nice to start on those Christmas projects early this year?
OK, more sneak peeks tomorrow (or the next day)! And more cute coming tomorrow also. :)
See you soon!
