Hi Blog Friends,
Last year I posted information on our "Darcie's Club" program. I thought I'd show you projects from the most recent shipment, which shipped yesterday. Darcie's Club is an automatic shipment program. Every other month Club members receive a shipment of brand new merchandise at approximately 40% discount from retail prices. Here are the projects that are included in the current shipment:
The shipment contains everything you need to make the projects shown on the sheet above.
Every shipment also contains a set of rubber stamps. The stamps are either Clear Polymer or Static Cling Red Rubber sets. Here's a photo of the images from the current shipment:
This above stamp set is a Static Cling Red Rubber Set, JCS138 Partridge/Peacock Set, and normally retails for $18.95. (The total cost of each Darcie's Club shipment is only $26.99, plus $8.99 shipping.) Here are some close up photos of the featured projects:
One of my new Acrylic Shadowbox frames is included with this shipment. The frame can be completed as a seasonal "Partridge in a Pear Tree" project (as shown above), or you could also use the stamps to make it into a more general "year round" home decor item. Here's a photo of another version of the same project:
Each Darcie's Club shipment includes a new template for making dimensional projects using the featured stamp set. Here's the template included with this shipment:
You are able to make five different sizes of gift bags using the patterns included with the template. One of the gift bags is a featured project, which means the shipment includes everything you need to make the gift bag. Here's a photo of the gift bag:
Pretty cute way to package some homemade goodies or little gifts, huh?
With each shipment you also receive a quick and easy printed project, usually a gift bag or a dimensional project. Here's the quick and easy gift project included with this shipment:
The Hexagon box was made using this Jumbo U-Cut, also included in the shipment:
These Jumbo U-Cuts are printed on a 12" x 18" sheet of 80 lb. card stock. Basically you just cut them out, score, and glue or tape together. These are a great way to create unique packaging for your handmade gifts.
OK, can you believe all that you get with each shipment? And there's still more! Here are photos of the card projects included with this shipment:
This card is pretty quick and easy also. Just stamp the wording on the pale blue card stock, stamp the peacock with a variety of inks, and stamp the saying on a piece of darker blue card stock and you're done. With each shipment we also include a large sheet of "U-Cuts" for each project, so that you can use the stamps to complete the project.... or the U-Cuts. Here's an example of the printed U-Cut for this particular project:
If you prefer to use these printed images to make the projects, it makes it amazingly simple.... we even print the images to shape to save you the time of figuring out measurements, etc.
Here's the other featured project card:
AND for EACH featured project we include a "step by step" Instruction Sheet:
In addition to ALL of that, we also send a sheet showing you other projects made with the featured stamp set. Many of the extra projects ideas are created with merchandise we've sent you in previous shipments, so you'll have new ideas for templates and products we've already sent you. Here's a photo of the "extra projects" sheet:
Whew! That's a lot of stuff!
The Club is a great source of new ideas and gives you a chance to try out new products.
Here are just a few of the products included in a typical Club shipment
- Set of Rubber Stamps
- Photos of Featured Projects
- Photos and supply lists of other projects you can make using the stamp set
- All papers needed to complete the featured projects
- Complete Step-by-Step Instructions for each project
- Templates used to complete featured projects
- U-Cuts and Jumbo U-Cuts
- Catalogs and new Flyers, when available
- Featured Projects can be completed using either the stamps or supplied printed cutouts
- Coupons
- Any embellishments, ribbons or trim used on featured projects
In addition, Darcie’s Club members receive 10% off of ALL of their purchases, ALL the time.
Each shipment is only $26.99 plus $8.99 shipping. There is no set term for membership, if you want to cancel at any time, you can do so by notifying us in writing. If you receive a kit that you don't like or think you won't use, you can return it to us for a refund. We will refund the kit price (but not the shipping costs). The kits each contain over $40.00 worth of merchandise.
If you're interested in giving the Club a try, you can download a printable pdf sign up form by clicking HERE or by clicking on the photo below.
If you are a CURRENT Darcie's Club member, here is the schedule of dates that the Club shipments will ship in 2011. We are switching it to an every other month shipment in order to assure consistency of shipments. The dates are: January 7, March 7, May 9, July 7, September 7, and November 7. The Club shipments for 2010 were a little sporadic due to manufacturing overloads this year, but we have plugged the above dates into the manufacturing schedule and the shipments will arrive shortly after the above dates in 2011.
If you're interested in purchasing any of the products shown in this post (but don't want to join Darcie's Club), they will be available for sale to the general public after December 10.
Are you interested in WINNING THIS STAMP SET?! If you'd like your name to be entered into the drawing for a FREE JCS138 Peacock/Partridge Stamp set..... just make a comment on this post before midnight Tuesday, November 16. I will draw a winning name on Wednesday, November 17. The winner will have until Friday, November 19 to email me with their snail mail address to claim the prize. I don't know where I've been but I discovered Darcie's stamps for the very first time this weekend at the Rubber stamp convention in Carson. MY SIL, friend and me all three signed up for the Darci's club. The stamp set in this month's kit is beautiful I love the peacock!

Hope you had fun in California, we got hit with our first snowfall and of course, we were up in Duluth, on Lake Superior and had to drive home in terrible snow conditions. Nice to be back home, heading downstairs to make some of the boxes, for which my template gets lots of use. Cute stamo set too!

Wow, your stamp club kit is amazing. What a great deal for all that stuff. When finances improve around here I will definitely look into the possibility of signing up for that. Till then, I guess winning would be a wonderfully exciting time.

Hi Kathy! I am SOOO sorry to hear about your knee! And thank you for letting me know you received the Club shipment already, wow that was fast! So glad you like it. Have fun and feel better soon! I'm back in the leg cast also... leg didn't heal yet from the June injury. Too bad you don't live here, we could put our feet up and recuperate together. :)

Darcie, I'm so glad you'll be at the Carson show. We always are disappointed at the shows earlier in the year when you're not there! You are the only reason we come to the show. Can't wait to see your new Fall and Winter things! xoxo

I received my club box today! Yay! It came at the perfect time - I injured my knee and will be down for awhile. This will give me some new things to work with. The stamps are great and I love the frame!
