We're back from the Cincinnati Stampaway show and I thought I'd share a couple of photos from the Friday night Preview Party. The theme this year was "Flower Power"...which could be interpreted several different ways... hippies, 60's theme, or flowers. Greg Smallwood from Marco's Paper always comes up with amazing, involved costumes, but I think this one tops them all:
Well, hello Sunshine! I didn't realize how uncomfortable it was for him until I read his blog... now that's true dedication!
Our own Ted and Michelle {and many of our crew members from Stamper's Anonymous, Darcie's, Inky Antics and Art Gone Wild} also dressed up. Here's Mr. and Mrs. Stamper's Anonymous:
Wow, I think they just stopped by the stamp show straight from their "Laugh-In" gig. Yup, you bet your bippie, I'm sure of it. :) I don't know for sure, but Marco's Paper's Blog said they won.... I'm wondering if they'll receive the "Fickle Finger of Fate" award, lol.
OK, I mighta just dated myself, hahaha.
Here's a photo of more of the crew:
Awesome job, guys! Margaret's ready to head to the disco, I'm lovin' the orange sherbet boots.
Annnnd.... I have to share this one. {I'll probably be in trouble, but what the heck, I've been in trouble before....}
Who knew Ted was sporting these cute little buns all these years?! Hahahaha. Gotta love paint spattered polyester. I kept staring at Ted (no not at his buns!!!), because he had shaved off his goatee for the first time in 8 years.... and between the clean face and the wig, it didn't look like him at all! Now that's taking one for the team, Mr. "My Face is Sore". Great job, gang! (No I don't have a photo of me, I didn't know they were planning on dressing up, we don't always do it.) I heard a rumor that next year is a Prom theme.... hmmm...going to have to dig out some of my prom gowns from previous West Point balls.
Now, about that Tin Pin giveaway....let's see.... here's the winning comment:
