Wow. Has it reeeeally been that long?! I normally work on my blog in the evenings.... and as you can see I haven't had a spare evening lately. Let's see.... since I talked to you last I've manufactured a zillion tin pins for orders (they went really well at CHA), made lots of pretty wedding decorations my son's wedding, been blessed with two visits by the bride, had the whole family home for a visit, been to Hawaii for our son's wedding, (in between finalizing and checking the website) and sadly....had a family member steadily decline in health and pass away. My father in law, Sherm Heater, was probably the best man I've ever known. Kind, caring, full of integrity and an awesome example for our family and everyone who knew him. Always a kind word and ALWAYS a joke on hand. :)
"Pops" owned the local Prudential Real Estate office in the later years of his career life, but in his early years he was the foreman at the gladiola bulb farm in that photo. We'll miss you tremendously, but will see you later Pops. XO
On a happier note....my son's wedding was in Hawaii last month. I'll be sharing some more photos of the wedding (and decoration photos) in future posts :) In the meantime, here's the new Mr. and Mrs....
Hawaii and the wedding were awesome, so much fun to get to hang out with Darin and Meghan and their friends. (Big shout out to Cara, Kathlyn and Ingram for being such wonderful friends and helping Meghan all week). :) Miss you guys!
I'm working on some ornaments and Christmas decorations to share with you..... I'll be back *SOON* {Ok, I've revised that twice now.... I'm having issues with my camera and haven't been able to take the pix of the project yet, hopefully Tuesday} with a free printable for you, so be sure to check back. The website is coming soon (or so I've been told, hopefully that's true!).... check back for more info on the website also.
:) Darcie
Glad to have you back Darcie. Your father in law was quite a guy. He'll be missed for sure. Congratulations on your son's wedding. May the happy couple have a wonderful life together.
